Municipal facts come from official town, county and state sources. Business and event details are confirmed with the business or organizer. Each page shows a last-reviewed date.
Profiles versus reviews
Directory entries are profiles, not reviews. We don't publish ratings. A first-person review will say so and describe the actual visit.
Historical research
We distinguish original structures from reconstructions, cite sources, and mark open questions rather than repeating unsourced stories.
Market methodology
Any market statistic states its period, geography, source, property type, sample size, methodology and limitations.
Sponsorships and hosted experiences
Sponsored content and hosted experiences are labeled. We don't promise favorable coverage, traffic or rankings in exchange for anything.
Automation
Automated tools may help suggest topics, outlines and flag stale details. A person reviews every claim about history, businesses, events, schools, boundaries, taxes, market statistics and construction before publication.
